About Us
Welcome to CONNECTING ASIA, a research network founded in 2015 as a true representation of a social enterprise and spinoff from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Our aim is to create a symbiotic partnership between academia and industry to provide sustainable solutions for social and industrial issues.
We are proud to have successfully hosted 16 international conferences, with more than 8,000 presenters sharing their research in the past eight years. We have also published over 6,000 research articles in reputed journals and conference proceedings.
With more than 10,000 members and 12,000 social media followers from 42 countries, CONNECTING ASIA is a research network with enormous growth potential. Our official YouTube channel, CONNECTING ASIA TV, aimed to facilitate learning, has over 26k subscribers.
We are a true reflection of a social organization aimed at providing support to higher education. To date, we have funded fully or partially 44 Ph.D. scholars. Join us in our mission to create impactful change through research and development.
