Prof. Dr. Marko Sarstedt

Marko is a Chaired Professor of Marketing at the Otto-von-Guericke-University, Magdeburg (Germany), and Adjunct Professor at Monash University Malaysia. He previously was an assistant professor of quantitative methods in marketing and management at the Ludwig- Maximilians-University Munich (Germany) and a Conjoint Professor at the University of Newcastle (Australia). His main research interests are in the advancement of research methods and measurement to improve scholarly research and managerial decision-making. His research has been published in journals across various fields, such as Nature Human Behaviour, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Organizational Research Methods, MIS Quarterly, Psychometrika, Decision Sciences, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Tourism Management, Long Range Planning, Journal of World Business, and Journal of Business Research. Marko has also co-edited several special issues of leading journals and co-authored four widely adopted textbooks, including “A Primer on Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM)” (together with Joe F. Hair, G. Tomas M. Hult, and Christian M. Ringle) and “A Concise Guide to Market Research”. His research ranks among the most frequently cited in the social sciences with more than 50,000 citations according to Google Scholar. Marko has won numerous best paper and citation awards, including five Emerald Citations of Excellence awards and two AMS William R. Darden Awards. His research has been covered by the leading media outlets such as Die Zeit, Huffington Post, and Spiegel and has been featured in documentaries on consumer behavior on arte and MDR as well as on the scientific video platform Latest Thinking. According to the 2019 F.A.Z. ranking, he is among the three most influential researchers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Marko has been named a member at Clarivate Analytic’s Highly Cited Researcher List, which includes the “world’s most impactful scientific researchers.” He has also won the 2018 Research Award of the OVGU.

Prof. Dr. Jiří Jaromír KLEMEŠ, is head of “Sustainable Process Integration Laboratory – SPIL”, NETME Centre, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology – VUT Brno, Czech Republic and Emeritus Professor at “Centre for Process Systems Engineering and Sustainability”, Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Budapest, Hungary. Previously the Project Director, Senior Project Officer and Hon Reader at Department of Process Integration at UMIST, The University of Manchester and University of Edinburgh. Founder and a long-term Head of the Centre for Process Integration and Intensification – CPI2 , University of Pannonia, Veszprém, Hungary. Awarded by the EC with Marie Curies Chair of Excellence (EXC). Track record of managing and coordinating 91 major EC, NATO and UK Know-How projects. Research funding attracted over 21 M€. Co-Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Cleaner Production. He authored nearly 400 papers. Professor Dana is graduate of Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, and McGill University (PhD, 1994) in Canada, Dr Dana is Research Professor at Montpellier Business School and Marie Curie Fellow at Princeton University. He formerly served at the University of Canterbury and prior to that as Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship at INSEAD and Deputy Director of the International Business MBA Programme at Nanyang Business School, in Singapore. He has published 36 books as well as 270 peer-reviewed articles mainly in the areas of economic development, entrepreneurship and issues of island economies. Muhammad Shahbaz is a Professor of Economics (Energy), Beijing Institute of Technology, China. He is former Chair Professor at Energy and Sustainable Development ESD, Montpellier Business School, Montpellier, France. He was a Principal Research Officer at the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Lahore Pakistan. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the National College of Business Administration and Economics, Lahore Pakistan. His research focuses on financial economics, energy finance, energy economics, environmental, development economics, and tourism economics, etc. He has widely published in peer-reviewed international journals. He has published more than 300 research papers so far in the International referred publications, having a cumulative impact factor of 425 so far. He is among the world’s top 15 authors in the Economics category as compiled by IDEAS, and among the top 5 authors in the Economics category in developing countries declared by David Mckenzie Chief Economist, World Bank. Prof. Dato Dr. Rajah Rasiah
Professor of Economics, University of Malaya, Malaysia
Rajah Rasiah holds the position of Distinguished Professor of Economics at the University of Malaya. His previous positions were Professor of Industrial Organization at National University of Malaysia, and senior research fellow at UNU-INTECH, Maastricht. He also holds adjunct positions in several universities, including Cambridge, Oxford, and Zhejiang. He obtained his doctorate in economics from the University of Cambridge in 1992. He was awarded the Celso Furtado Prize by the World Academy of Sciences in 2014 for advancing the frontiers of social science thought (economics). He is a rare academic that has spent his whole career advancing the frontiers of policy research to benefit the developing economies. Either through United Nations organizations or through governments, he has prepared several industrial and technology policy reports to advance the material conditions of millions of humans with a focus on technology, sustainability, public health, and the interests of the masses.
Dr. Muhammad Imran Qureshi

Muhammad Imran Qureshi is a Doctor of Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His doctorate research focused on the work practices for sustainable manufacturing under Socio-technical systems context. He is currently working as a senior lecturer in Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). He is also founding Director of Connecting ASIA research network. He has ten years of teaching experience in the field of Operations Management, Strategic Management, Project Management, Total Quality Management, Statistical Process Control, Environmental Management, Logistic and Supply Chain Management, Production Management and Operations Research, Statistics and Data Analysis. He is a professional trainer for data analysis. He has conducted several workshops on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS and SMART PLS, qualitative data analysis using NVIVO. On the research side, his research profile consists of more than 100 research publications in renowned journals. He has written several impact factor publications with world-renowned publishers like ELSEVIER and SPRINGER in the area of Operations Management, Environmental Management, Sustainability and Organizational Behavior. His work has been cited extensively with 26 i10 index and h index 16. He is also the author of three books.
