I am currently working as Senior Lecturer at Univeristi Kuala Lumpur. I am also founding director of CONNECTING ASIA sdn. bhd. I’ve been working as lecturer at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Pakistan from 2007 till starting my PhD at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2014. During my teaching tenure at COMSATS I thought different courses related to logistic and operations management field at BS and MS level. These courses were included Project Management, Operations Management, Operations Research, Total Quality Management, Statistical Process Control, Environmental Management, logistic and supply chain management, Production Management and Operations Research. Moreover, during this period I taught some courses other than operations management like research methodology, mathematical modeling, quantitative data analysis and qualitative data analysis. I am an enthusiastic academician in the field of operations management with ability to adopt new skills required to sustain in the competitive era. I have ability to transfer knowledge to my students using practical pedagogy methodologies. Other than classroom teaching I’ve conducted several workshops on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS and SMART PLS, qualitative data analysis using NVIVO.
On the research side, my research profile consists of more than 50 research publications in renowned journals with cumulative impact factor above 20. I have written several impact factor publications with world renowned publishers like ELSVIER and SPRINGER in the area of Operations Management, Environmental management, sustainability and organizational behavior. Details of my research profile are given in my detailed C.V. My doctorate research focused on the work practices for sustainable manufacturing under Socio-technical systems context. During my doctoral studies I was appointed as research assistant for the research project based on sustainable manufacturing practices. I am proud to mention that I have already completed all performance targets for the research project and produced three impact factor publications during that period.
